Diet Coke

1 Timothy 4:1  The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

In the late 1800's a new beverage was invented. In our days almost everyone has drink it, and this beverage is known all around the globe. Coke is the name of this soft drink. For almost 100 years this beverage stayed true to itself, being unique by being the only beverage called coke, until 1982 when Diet Coke was introduce. Diet coke was introduced by the need to reduce calories on the original. Now many people claim that Diet coke is even worst than drinking the original, classic, coke. In 2005 coke zero was introduced. What people don't really know is that diet coke follows a brand new recipe, not the original.

I like to think that everything can be compared, and traced to the word of God and I don't want to offend anyone so you can drink the one you like the most, this is just a metaphor.

I think that Christianity can be compared to the evolution of this drink for a long time it maintained its original purpose, but since people wanted something different, Christianity Light was invented. Many have been deceived by by this light way of following Jesus because it has a nice slogan "All the blessings and peace that you love without the sacrifices." Paul wrote about this almost 200- years ago we shouldn't be surprised that churches that practice Christianity Light are the ones growing, in number not in spirit, the most. Be ready because if churches are practicing Christianity Light in this times they are just getting ready for the next step, Christianity Zero.
